Born in a Parisian workshop.
Maison Chic began in a 400-square-metre atelier in the 11th arrondissement, where founder Élise Marchand and five craftspeople spent three years perfecting a single sofa frame before selling a single piece. That patience has never left us.
Today we work with artisans from Portugal to Japan, combining centuries-old joinery techniques with contemporary forms. Each material is sourced with obsessive care — our oak comes from sustainably managed forests in the Black Forest; our velvet is woven in a third-generation mill in Lyon.
We do not chase seasons. A Maison Chic piece is designed to be inherited, not replaced.

Honest Materials
We use what we say we use. Every wood species, every fabric weight, every finish is documented in writing for each piece. We do not use veneers over MDF and call it solid wood.
Handmade Precision
Every joint is cut by hand. Every cushion is filled and sewn to order. Automation is welcome in our logistics — never in our making. The maker's hand leaves something in the object that machines cannot replicate.
Designed to Last
We back every structural element with a 10-year guarantee, and we keep spare parts for discontinued pieces for 20 years. A good piece of furniture should outlive its owner's taste, not its warranty.
